I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Mathematics at the University of Oklahoma working with my mentor Dr. Ying Wang. My current research is in the area of numerical approximations of partial differential equations (PDEs) and minimization problems using the Finite Element and Discontinuous Galerkin discretization methods. I received my Ph.D in 2017 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville under Dr. Xiaobing Feng. In 2012, I recieved a BS in Applied Mathematics with an emphasis in Computer Science from Murray State University.
