Norman Math Circle at OU
A free program to foster a love of mathematics for students in grades 6-12
About Us
The Norman Math Circle is an educational opportunity for middle and high school students to meet with mathematical scholars and professionals, including graduate students and professors at OU, to learn intriguing problems and topics in mathematics not typically taught in the classroom. The goal is to get students excited about the mathematics they are learning in an encouraging environment and to show students that math is fun and creative.
We accept all students from grades 6 - 12,
regardless of current mathematical ability.
Teachers, parents, and interested younger students
are also more than welcome to attend.
We'll have a different topic each week, so you can
join anytime without worrying about being behind.

| Parking: | OU parking permits are not required for parking on campus on the weekends. The Elm Avenue Parking Facility and the North Oval are two good options for parking near PHSC. |
| Lunch: | Pizza and water will be provided. Participants are also welcome to bring their own food. |

A typical meeting will start with about 10 minutes for registration and grabbing pizza. The session leader will then give a fun and interactive presentation with a break in the middle for discussion (and for grabbing more pizza).
