The solutions to quizzes 1 through 5 and exams 1 and 2 have been put on electronic and paper reserve at Bizzell Library. To access Electronic Reserves, first go to the OU Libraries' Web page at http://libraries.ou.edu, and log in using your OUNetID and password. Then, under "Resources" in the menu at left, click on "Reserves". On the page where this takes you, you will see a box titled "Search the Reserves", where you choose the semester (Fall 2003) and the department (MATH) of this course, and click "submit". You will then see a box titled "Mathematics Courses for Spring 2003", where you will be able to access the solutions (after I post them) by choosing the link to "Math 1823".
Those of you in this class who are experiencing their first semester at college may be interested in this article, which purports to describe things that college students wish they had done differently in their first semester. I'm not sure I would have followed this advice myself when I was a freshman, but it's worth mulling over anyway.
Here, on the other hand, is a quite different take on the whole college experience.
